Kanga's
Ever since we moved to the hills we do our daily walk to see the kangaroos on 1 st Avenue. The Kanga’s, as Nora calls them, are tame ones, brought in as little Joeys who lost their mothers in road accidents. Like an adoption process they are assigned to care takers with the right facilities. This one has been there for more than 25 years. Recently they added 2 new Joeys. Nora knows them very well, and we assume they know her. At least they can hear her coming from miles away “KANGA, KANGA KANGA!’
