Just a few of weeks ago we were whinging about cold winter nights. But sure enough, we're at the end of August and Spring is already here! This week we are well into the 20°C. Let's hope the weather gods stay on course and grant us a couple of nice weeks before the latest Bijlsma arrives. Just 6 weeks to go now ....

Here’s Nora with some of her best friends. First there’s Tristan. Nora and ‘Trissie’ play all the time like two cheeky boys, loud and enthusiastic, always up for some mischief. Watch out for anything that’s precious to you when those two are around! The other ‘friends’ are of course Dora the explorer, and her companion Boots. Want to come in the tent and have a play?

While Cadel Evans wrapped up the Tour de France in sunny Paris (Go Aussie!), his fellow countrymen Down Under are coping with some really cold winter weather. This week we had the coldest night in the last 5 years, with a record low of -2°C in the Hills. Yes ladies and gentlemen, there is such a thing as night-frost down here, or at least in the Adelaide Hills. Quite an unusual experience though! So what does one do on cold winter days? Well, if you’re not breeding babies (10 more weeks!), you can ride the ride, slide the slide, or follow the new national hero Cadel and bike the bike! Do you reckon Nora will ride the Tour one day?!?

Since a couple of weeks Nora has her own real bed. She'll show you herself what you can do with it ....

Hey hey, Swedish Midsummer again. Of course being Down Under for us it comes down to a Mid-winter party. But funny enough the weather here was probably better than in Scandinavia. We had a lovely sunny day, with plenty of food and some Swedish guest coming over to help us eat it all. As tradition has it we sang the songs (you know, the ones ending on ‘Skål’) and knocked down a few schnapps. Yes, it’s a tough job having to stick to traditions. And since Mummy couldn’t drink being pregnant, Daddy had to do double duty....    By the way, Nora and Damon had a ‘ Ball’ too...
